HID OMNIKEY 7121 USB Biometric Readers
Best suited for desktops, the OMNIKEY 7121 consists of a USB smart card reader that's designed to be used with HID Crescendo cards. It offers dual or multi-factor authentication with biometric fingerprint data. The authentication system of the smart card reader is secured by biometric algorithms, allowing businesses with high security demands to eliminate the chance of unauthorized card use. Match-on-Card and Match-on-Host are both supported.
New drivers aren't usually required to be installed when connecting the smart card reader to a PC, thanks to its full USB CCID support.
The use of the OMNIKEY 7121 is perfect for online banking, single sign-on and applications that require digital signatures. ISO 7816, EMV, HBCI, PC/SC and WHQL are all supported, among others.
The pocket-sized reader is lightweight, weighing approximately 170g. Buyers have a variety of design or color options to choose for the physical look of the smart card reader. The OMNIKEY 7121 has thermal regulation and auto-power off if there's any inactivity of the device for an extended period of time. A two year manufacturer's warranty is provided for each purchase.
