HID Indala Keypad Readers
Indala keypad readers allow for an additional layer of security, further protecting internal areas such as research and development or laboratory settings. Equipped with FlexSecur Technology, an added level of security, the Indala 125 kHz Keypad Reader uses a verification process that screens out unauthorized cards, ensuring that any data exchange only occurs with authorized cards. In addition, cards can be set by location, guaranteeing that only those with cards authorized for the specific card location gain access to that site.
The reader is able to read cards up to 4 inches away. All information stored on the card is encrypted to stop potential data breaches. This reader is compatible with Wiegand, mag stripe and serial output formats up to 172 bits, for ease in interfacing with most existing access control panels. The reader is also equipped with the ProxSmith Programmer System, which allows the reader to be conveniently programmed at the facility as well as at the factory.
Indala keypad readers are aesthetically designed in black or beige, and are able to be mounted on a flat surface or gang box. The reader is also weatherproof, allowing for internal or external environments, temperature ranges of -22 to 149 F and humidity of 0-95%. In addition, the reader is made of co-polymer materials and is virtually indestructible and vandal-resistant.
